Our first competition was held on the 19th March  2016 and has been held annually every third Saturday of March ever since.

This competition originated from discussions between Wendy Thomas and Felicity Huntington to have somewhere that over 30's women could play who were still quite competitive.

 

So in memory of Wendy the over 30's competition shield has been named the Wendy Thomas Memorial Shield (WTMS) in her honour as she dedicated herself to promoting both codes of Indoor and outdoor soccer.

Wendy Thomas was very instrumental in getting women's soccer up running as early as the 1970's in the Western Sydney Region.  Wendy dedicated her life to the soccer community encouraging and inspiring all players through her passion for the sport.   

​

We encourage any over 30's player to put a team together and enter the competition there is prize money involved.  See competition rules for make up of teams as you are allowed two players aged between 28 years & 29 years.
